Predictions: tiptronic GT28"alpha" vs 6-speed K24/18g
Must be lucky I guess
Call your tuner?
if you are already rolling and you either e-brake or foot brake the car and give it more throttle, you will begin to boost because you put a load on the engine. it is just to get your boost started to reduce lag. Not worth it on smaller turbos, but if you have huge turbos it might be worth it. our cars with twin turbos don't seem to suffer as much as single turbo cars.

If you haven't been "tuned" for it, performing this will cause throttle body shutdown.
I must be tuned for it, cuz I did it the other day when I smashed that 1992 Corolla Wagon that kept on staging me at the light
SWEET!!! Way to keep those soccer moms in check! Ya gotta deep stage them Corolla's as they really can leave...
Funny you post that. My buddy is setting me up to race a 515whp, 2500lb Civic. I think I can take him, but I better be on my game...
it will be close. The higher the speeds the better for you. also you have much more torque he's got way more lag so from a roll you should jump him
Exactly. Not worried I guess. I expect him to have major lag, regardless of speed. I think I have the advantage whatever stage is set...
Just got back from racing my friends GTR, Sorry no video, you can blame Vinod for forgetting his camera although I have a feeling that it may pop up on youtube anyways because there was a maxima with some people following us when I slowed down they had a video camera pointed at me.
Anyways, I destroyed to GTR, it has a cobb tune, exhaust, intake, and midpipe not sure what the power level is but he told me he had made 580whp on a dynojet. The race was fun, I dont know if he will ever race me again but next time ill make sure we have a video. He was a really good sport even after loosing.

Congrats Vince, I wasn't worried, although, IMO, I think that the power level of that GTR might be suspect? Is it reasonable to believe he picked up approximately 180whp with only an exhaust and a tune? Optimistic dyno? More mods than saying? Did you find a Pbox yet?
i think he also had his wastegates upgraded. Not sure how much power he can pick up. Either way Vince your car was a beast...pulled a clean 5 cars by 130 mph.
