TEBeckerMD is infamous around these parts
Tiptronic racing

I have a tiptronic for several reasons. I live in DC and it is used daily for city driving, my wife prefers a tiptronic, and I bought it from another city driver who was leasing it and I know for a fact took meticulous care of it and therefore I know the complete history of its 27K miles. It has never been to the track I that is a real shame...I plan on going regularly. I would like to hear track-driving advice from other tiptronic racers. Thanks.

For people with relatively little tracking experience it allows you to concentrate more on lines and braking

The heat build up in the tip is devastating to the tranny. This is where mine finally gave out. I'm going to add a larger cooler. If you track it in stock form, take it easy. You should be fine if you haven't upgraded your turbos too.

I run an external cooler on my tip box and its held out well thus far for track days. Car is currently running the Protomotive PE700 kit through the tip box...

For info on using a tip, some interesting info...
