hey guys.. sorry I didn't see this one earlier.. I'll write something up in a bit

Basically, lower the tire pressure (I assume you're using decent 18s?) in the rear. Have it pumped up to 40 in the front. Pull up the hand brake when you're staging. Hold the foot brake down as much as you can and start stalling her up. Make sure you've down shifted into 1st gear and have the PSM "off". Now this is assuming you have stock brakes? Get it up to about 2600-700 rpms and hold it for a bit to get some boost. Then just before you feel it start to "wander" drop the hand-brake and at the same time let of of the brake whilst pressing the gas as hard as you can....

Imagine your automatic's clutch revving higher before dumping the clutch. much harder takeoffs.

Well it allowed me to stall the car higher by about 400-500rpms and launch way harder:P The torque converter was reveined:P Helped me get into the 1.601 60 foot range

Taken from EVO's product page ($4345 without a core exchange):
Tiptronic Torque Converter
SKU:CLUTC996TT

Our unique re-veined design will offer excellent drive-ability while allowing the engagement rpm to be raised for harder and faster launches and 1/4 mile times. A rebuildable core exchange is required. Tested successfully up to 800HP.

First $1000 takes it It's VERY heavy so shipping won't be cheap. Maybe $150?

How much damage, and how fast, would the above technique cause to a stock torque converter? How much $ for a new torque converter?
