interior amber lights

Was with out my car for a week .. had the body kit installed.. so I dont remember... but my interior amber lights 1 in the rear view mirror stalk, and the ones at the interior door handle stay lit, after shutting my car off.. also the area at the drivers side where your hood and trunk release buttons and seat memory buttons are is also lit... I just checked and I shut the car off over an half ago and they are still lit... normal..? sorry I cant remember before my car went in to the shop if it did the same.. am I losing my mind? lol

Well I can't comment on losing your mind, but I know those lights stay on for quite some time...not sure the actual time, but >30 minutes easy...They are LED so very little power consumption. Try opening your engine lid and coming back later...LOL

I usually have my windows up and they are tinted so I really never noticed before if they were on or not... but this time I left my windows down and went back into the garge and noticed they were on... this is going to drive me nuts....lol

Make sure you set the alarm... Porsches draw a ton of power just sitting there unless you arm your alarm/lock the doors. Don't ask me how I know... Once armed, they go into a "sleep" like mode and draw minimal power which might include shutting off even those little LED's (which do stay on for extended times).

I know my interior lights on the turbo stay on for a good 10-20 minutes after shutting the car off.

I've noticed with my car, that if you do not set the alarm, interior lights will stay on for a period of time, sometimes seems longer than others? I never noticed this until I installed my Brockway 1000 and it wouldn't shut off even after 20 minutes or so! However, if you set your alarm, which I always do, they will shut off immediately and I have NEVER had battery issues. The car will go to sleep due to "non-use" like after a good week or so and the remote will NOT work and you have to use the key to unlock/disarm.

Yes. If I just get out and slam my door and walk away, my interior lights (all of them) will stay on for who knows how long. If I hit my remote to lock/arm, they will go off immediately.
