Just wondering if the 996gt2 came from the factory with H&R coilovers. I have a guy trying to sell me shocks and springs from a gt2 (they look like standard TT parts), and I thought the gt2s came fromt he factory with coilovers. Thanks.

I think you misunderstood my post. I was responding to the initial question re: the H&R issue. I have no doubt that your initial posted photo displayed an authentic GT2 suspension. I was just adding my two cents because your photo did not show the detail of the stamped H&R and I wanted to confirm to Mark that, yes, the 996 GT2 springs say "H&R".

 

No misunderstanding. Just making sure they matched.

 

you would be just as well off buying a set of JIC CROSS if there is a problem. really cant beat them bang for the buck as a suspension upgrade

I did front and rear sways (H&R), JIC 8/12 coilovers, adjustable control arms in the rear, and the sway links....the stock and even JIC ones are not confidence inspiring (although the new JIC links are supposed to be fine now....). I used Dan at Vivid and did a big package to save money.
