Color combo question
Color combo question
I am negotiating on a 03 Turbo with very low miles in Guards Red over Savanna beige. I only plan on having the car for two years or so and wanted to get everyone’s opinion on color combo to judge how easy it will be to resell. I have not seen very many if any for sale in this combo. What are your thoughts?

You can't go wrong with Guards Red. I had a 944 in Gurads Red and beige, and I like the color combo. It seems like the most popular interior color is black, but everyone has their preference. My only concern is the wood steering wheel and shift **** -- I like it and I think the dark wood works well with the biege, but many people don't like wood at all inside a 911.
As an '03 with 7.5k miles, looks like a good purchase if the price is right. Maybe you could even get them to throw in a GIAC ECU flash as part of the sale (as they are a GIAC distibutor).

I think many of the Porsche Purists will like the Guards Red which will help. Personally, i think that Guards Red is slightly too pink and not a red that I would buy. The interior color is one that only some people will like as well. Black seems to be the universally accepted color for interiors. The is obviously opinion, but when I was looking for a TT, there were more negative comments on non-black interiors, especially if it had wood. Red was a 50:50 color, people either liked it or didn't.
