Has anyone upgraded to GT3 control arms?
Oak, Larry's already got some nice swaybars/drop links, and he's also getting ready to instal some Motons. I think if he goes with GT3 arms and does the clocking thrust bushings and some decent toe links, along with motor mounts, he should be good to go for a streetcar/DE car combo...He's still an intermediate driver and uses the car as a street car.

GT3 Control Arms on All 4 Corners
Hey Guys:
I have the split GT3 control arms on all 4 corners of my car.
I decided to do all 4 on Mike Kelly's recommendation and because I was going to be replacing several other components - I didn't want to tear the car down twice. I also understand that the GT3 parts are stronger thus providing a bit more safety. My set up includes:
- Moton Club Sport shocks (w/650 lb. front; 800 lb. rear springs)
- GT3 split control arms on all 4 corners from Suncoast
- RSS Inner monoballs bushings from Sharkwerks
- RSS Aluminum thrust arm bushings from Vivid
- RSS dog bones from Vivid
- H&R adjustable sway bars front and rear
- Custom drop links (made by Motor Werks Racing )
I've had one track event with this setup so far and the car feels great - very planted and easily controlled. The ride on the street is fine with the solid bushings - I really don't notice a lot more noise or harshness.
I have eliminated almost all the excuses. Now all I need is some more talent to be fast.

Thanks for the input. Looks like you have a system twin to mine, or will be when I have everything installed.
Do you actually need the GT3 rear control arms if you have the dog bones and toe steer kit already there. Don't those components control camber in the rear?

larry, if you already haven't pulled the trigger on your components. check into the cpp upper dog bones that mike at awe carries. imo, they are much nicer than all the other dog bones on the market, they come with teflon lined aurora ends with nice sealed boots to keep out the dust and grime that break down the heim joints which will make for premature wear and excessive noise and slop. they have an overall beefier construction to boot esp the threaded ends.

I never drive it and it's always on the rack. lol..
I have been tweaking on my suspension for awhile, last year I went through a whole year trying to get my Moton issues ironed out. So I spent alot of time inspecting and cleaning what I could but almost everything is new.

Ah, just as I suspected.
I have the AP dogbones, and as Oak points out the heim joints are open. I wipe them clean and put a little moly suspension grease on them to keep them lubed as best I can. A sealed joint would be very nice.
