996tt ecu upgrade
OK this is it.
I will send you a cable and a flash FREE of charge and use it for a week? Should you not want it then just flash it to stock and send it back? Simple. The cost of the flash would be $1549.00 and it allows you to flash back and forth in files. Should you pay and want it I will then send you a new cable with Durametric software as part of the deal for FREE in which is a $287.00 value added in!. Just then send the loaner cable back for it!!!

Thanks
. CT area does have many Porsche cars and a great group of talented people in the try state area.I could go on and on about my product however why not let the customer try it? The product says it all.
Best,
Scott
Thanks for the kind words fellas and I'm always around to help and/or point folks in the right direction (if you're in SoCal I can point you to some good folks too). It depends on what your intended use is and what sort of power you want to achieve. Even with just a basic software tune there are a few things you need to attend to in order to make sure the car is good to go. And as with all of the Evomsit software tuning we offer a 45 day money back offer so if for some reason you don't like it you get a refund
Scott, free software, cable, crack, and a choice of colors!!! Did not know what I was in for when I joined this forum.
But seriously, I think I got a little ahead of myself here. My 2001TT still has the CPO warranty until Sept 09. I was mainly trying to get info from others and got a little over whelmed. The ECU upgrade seems to be one of the biggest debates/opinions of most any upgrade with 3 to 4 tuners leading the pack. I wanted to be prepared to "pull the trigger" on either just a ECU upgrade or with a high HP package when the warranty expires.
I will contact you soon to discuss this further.

Scott,
How much does the re-flash that you offer cost?
How much of a awhp/rwhp gain can one expect from just your flash on 93OCT Map?
Do you offer maps for 100 octane; and what options do you offer (2step)?

Hello all,
I thought that I could answer some of the questions in this post. The price is $1549 and it must be ordered by calling us and stating that you saw this on 6Speed.
The gains differ on the 996 and its turbos. A stock K16 typically sees a 80HP gain and the X50 would get about 70. This of course goes up with the exhaust then if added. The X50 already has different turbos and runs a higher boost than the K16 cars stock.
The K16 will run at 1.0 bar stock and 1.2 with the exhaust. The X50 runs at 1.2 bar with 93 octane.
Like I said you would also get the Duramtric software added in should you want to keep the Software in which is a $287.00 value.
One note also is that you get two files normally . The first is the Original file in which restores the DME to 100% as it was new and deletes all traces of a flash as original is just that, original.
The second file is the tuned file in which you can also write when you like.
Best Regards,
Scott

or "Original file" is that it is undetectable period as ever being flashed. When this is done your DME is 100% as it was when first installed by the factory or as it was before it was ever flashed. No other tuner can perform this.Softronic can also with the same cables, Tune remotely, Change Over Revs, Data log, Change the program index, alter Imob codes, Dme Codes etc. We can even look up all your info and history on your car.
We do not de-solder chips or even require the DME to be removed. The Softronic process is done entirely at will by you the end user with a laptop and a cable.
Best Regards,
Scott
Scott: I have seen/read/heard the claim that the DME software can be re-flashed back to stock so that the file change from stock to flash and back to stock is "totally undetectable". I am no software expert, but I have had experience in cyber-security and there is really no such thing as an undetectable software change. You will always leave some evidence or "footprint" in the file when you alter the original file. The new Porsche DME's and computerized software readers can readily detect a previously flashed file and usually generate a code that says something like "software altered". Porsche designed their software to detect this because of literally hundreds of thousands of dollars resting on potential warranty issues involving expensive engine and/or transmission rebuilds or replacements.
If you actually have managed to write totally undetectable program, you may well be sought out by the Department of Defense for a lucrative contract.
