I wonder if some of the guys on the board ever thought to try a unique motor build (ala Markski, divi etc...) and ever thought to have everyone pitch in. After all we did benefit from the knowledge gained from their respective builds right?

It must be a Chicago thing cause i am willing to do it for $99. maybe 98 if we can get 10 or more.
Let me know as i am talking to the manufacture right now.

Yes it is.
On the real ones it's a dry carbon adjustable Gurney flap for additional downforce.

Does anyone know if you would need a new wiring harness as well? I assume the 3rd brake light just transfers from the OEM decklid?
