Exhaust Real HP Numbers

Hello Porsche Brothern,

I have been doing some searches here for a while and can't seem to find what I am looking for.

I would love to know if anyone has HP numbers from a Dyno - from stock to upgraded exhaust.

Also what exhaust was it and size of pipping etc.

I have found a lot of talk about the sound of exhausts etc - and even some that they got "great" power from it - but can't find any real numbers or dyno sheets.

Just wondering what we get out of these cars with stock exhaust upgrade.

Thanks - and sorry of this is somewhere else

Long ago, the PorscheDoc (from ImagineAuto) did a very detailed exhuast
comparison. I cannot remember exactly but I believe exhuasts on our car can
free up about 20-25 ponies and still have cats and not pound your head in.

I have FVD sport exhaust and with NO other changes made 19awhp/18awtq. Not sure about the pipe size, but probably same as stock and I have cats too.

Here is one - a dyno comparison of a stock exhaust vs. our SpeedTech 70mm system on a forum members car. This car only had upgraded K16 turbos (K16/16G) and a flash for mods - that's it. These dynos were about 90 minutes apart - same day, same dyno, same strapping - the car never moved off the dyno between runs...dyno results showed a 42 AWHP (about 50 flywheel HP) peak gain with our 70mm system. As you can see, substantial gain was recorded for most of the RPM band - right up to redline.
