question for everyone...

after 3 weeks ownership of my 03 TT i have a question for every P-car owner.

does the rattling noise comment in 996?

after 3 weeks, both of my doors and center console, maybe also the seat areas have rattle noise. i figured i better turn the audio on all the time to NOT hear the noise.

well, i ask because on my pervious 02 C4S had the same noise problem. i took the car back & the dealer was able to fix them but after a while they'd come back again.

i probably won't take the car back just to fix those noise problems, but i do want to know if everyone's car here is noise free $
& rattle free?

i do have bad luck buying everything though

No rattles. No noises. Very tight. I do have a rollbar though and I think that may have tightened things up a bit.

My car rattles like crazy. There was a TSB for '01 TT's and placing some teflon tape somewhere in the dash, but I believe that problem was solved for MY'02-'03 cars. Even with this TSB, my dealer refuses to fix the rattles because my car is lowered with the RUF suspension. The car rattled pretty much from day one.

At any rate, I still love the car!

No rattles yet, but I get a very disconcerting CREAK when going up a driveway diagonally thus flexing the car tortionally.
Eerie, really.

None here...

No rattles whatsoever on my 03 with 4500 miles. There was a time when I would get a creak when going up a steep driveway diagonally, but that noise quit sometime ago and now there is nothing but the sound of the exhaust (or the radio if I turn it on <grin>).

Only 1000. miles but all on poor Wisconsin roads. No squeaks or rattles what so ever. Tight as a drum.
