Yep, There's a stage 2 clutch with lwfw in his 997TT. Yeah 360 not F430. His car is quick, but it's not 820awtq quick

 

Last Summer. Anthony is the other 997TT. He also purchased an F430.

 

I did not want to use any names, but...... Yes, he told me and a few others at Cars and Coffee a few months ago that the car was dynoed at over 800TQ. Yes, he has a modena and not a F430. My mistake.

 

He mentioned a few other tunes but do not remember the exact mods. I did remember the 820TQ claim.

His car still gets the jump on me except for this video.

Again, I this is what I was told. The mods you point out should put him at 650HP (crank). Or am I wrong? Either way, he has more mods than I do and he has a 997TT which is several hundred pounds lighter than my Cab.

Thomas, you know my car, you have run against it. On paper I should not be beating these cars.

I never call anyone out, use names, try to sell products or put down tuners on this board. I just love to go on these runs, as you do.

If someone tells me not to post the video, I just keep it to my self.

 

His car is one of the rare instances that anyone gets the jump on me. 95% of my runs, I get the jump in 1st and 2nd. If they are faster, then they come ripping by me after that (sid350 is one example). In the video you will see that the Red 997TT just flattens out in 4th. I catch him and passed him around 120MPH. In the second video, I kept my cars RPM's up and that did not happen.

 

Robert, sorry if I came off wrong. Your car is extremely quick for what it has, and it shouldn't have been able to pull on the 997TT, but it did. I just wanted to clarify the mods on the 997tt for the community who aren't familiar with his car.

 

To help clarify, in the first post you may have listed the color of the (2) 997 TT's
(which is Proto, etc).
What is done to the Proto Car as it seems to pull very hard on you? (as it should)
Does the Proto car have modded turbos?

I do enjoy your videos and am surprised how well you car does considering the
K24's it is running.

The Proto is the black 997TT with moded turbos. I have ran that car at least 50 times in the last two years and it pulls very hard. He also has the IPD Plenum, Cargraphics exhaust, air filter and Proto tuned ECU (there could be more).

 

Robert...keep up the videos...I think we all love'em! And I've seen you smoke a few other cars at your site. A win is a win...no excuses. I can't believe how fast your cab is with what appears to be a fairly simple tune!

We're just pok'n a little fun at the fact that you mentioned "Barrister" in the first few sentences on your vid...

Robert, with a race file and 109, you have to be putting out much more than 550 bhp and that is apparent from the videos. great runs. you might be closer to 650 bhp with race file. Have you dynoed or done 1/4 mile trap speed? You also have a cab, which probably weighs about 5 lbs more than those 997's. 997's are heavy.
