Straight from the horses mouth, they didn't want to announce it now as people have already started to ship their cars. They will have the track available but no magazine coverage, no filiming, just like a club race. Too many people dropped out due to the high cost of entry and mis-management. Those few that do show up and make some passes on the track to kill some time but the Shooutout as originally posted is not going to materialize...

Emails and Phone calls have been place to the organizers. We will update everyone once we get the answer today. We are demanding that we get a YES or NO within the next couple of hours.

My question is this. If this is a Hoax then why did Toyo send the tires? If a hoax then why a week ago did I talk with Stan at Excellence and he said he would not be there, but Pete would? All seems a little involved if no magazine, no sponsors are in this. I also talked with Both Dave and Tim in the last week and Tim more specifically yesterday morning.
