My question is basically has anyone here with or without mods ran against any supercar?
We have heard and seen videos against hopp'd up BMW's AMG's and so on. But, what about the other crowd?
Enzo's, Bugatti's, Koenigsegg CCX's, and so on.....??
I know they are incredibly rare and even more so someone that would actually "play" with one of them.
But, that is why I am asking!!

 

A few weeks ago I ran my McLaren F1 against a Bugatti Veyron, I was faster on take off but eventually the Veyron caught up.

It was in Dubai, we had the streets closed down and everything.

Oh wait, that was Richard Hammond on Top Gear, sorry my bad I get confused all the time reality and TV.



Seriously, I "ran" against a Ferrari FXX if you want to call it that on the Mont-Tremblant track. Actually it was more he blew by me like I had the parking brake up. Same goes for a Ferrari P3 (one of three in the world). The owner likes to take them out once in a while on lapping days!

Well Dio if i can connivence my cousin to take out the Enzo we might!! I can get you the SLR one anytime!! But Amedeo SLR is stupid fast! 10.71 at 132mph! with a full trunk!

Sounds like the fastest SLR I have ever heard of.

 

Ive encountered an Enzo in my 997TT but the old guy was just rolling at the speed limit in the slow lane, wanted nothing to do with me.

Ive only seen one Veyron in Palo Alto and I was with the wife in the GX, baby seats and all

I encountered an SLR w/ Oregon plates again in my Turbo but he was exiting for Cars and Coffee so no chance to run it, plus he was almost going double my speed when he passed me so I did not even have time to react, just saw a silver blur!

I encountered a Jag XK220 in my Evo but seriously, my Evo was quick but did not want to be 'that kid in the Evo' so did not try. it had Oregon plates also, a real beauty of a car as well.

ran on track with a Bugatti, I had faster lap times because I was a better driver but on the long back straight that thing drove away from me like I was standing still!!

 

that would be cool to experience, a veyron flying by me on a straight. Cool owner that would actually track one also.

I ran up against an SLR last year (stock exhaust on my 996TTS) on PCH in Newport Beach. He wanted to run so we both hit the gas. He was 1 car length ahead of me when we started. Black smoke came out of his side pipes. I had 1 car lenght at 100MPH.

Sounds like there was something really wrong with that SLR/Driver.
There is no way a properly running SLR would not leave you several lengths behind.
