TEXAS MILE: This October 16-18

Whatever the HP # was last year he ran 192mph. That much we do know. Hopefully we will have good conditions and can get some good runs in. We will have to do a roll on between our cars - their trap speeds are very close.
What mph are you looking to run in the mile with 580RWHP?
With a strong tailwind Eric should be able to hit 167mph.
The key is to have Dr Jitsu behind you so that the force of him yapping will give you the best chance of a tailwind.

Paulie, I found some ALL black silicon boost hoses in my latest Performance Products catalogue. Check em out.
Yes SteveO. This is the plan at the Mile.
How about this, I have talked to Todd (VividTX) about this and I believe he is onboard but I don't want to speak for him. I am willing to put up a whiteboard at the Mile and keep track of everyone's speed. Then, for the Texas folk at least and anyone else interested, (and this is going to require some honesty!) I could host a dyno day at my shop to see what HP = what MPH in the Mile! Unfortunately, it's only a 2wd dyno but I could yank a front drive shaft out pretty quick to get a good idea on any AWD cars.
I also have storage room available for anyone wanting to leave their cars here.
BTW, I have a Dynojet dyno.
Anyone interested?

I've ran Marty (Woodtster) up to 195 on a closed course and stayed even. He ran 191 in the mile. I am hoping to get close to that #. My motor is NA so it won't pull at the top like your turbo cars.

All in good fun and safety is the name of the game.
You will do that at 1/4 marker
Get ready and fasten your seat belt to terminal velocity. There is no room for error at those speeds. Hope we all come back in one piece

no kidding. that is what makes it more amazing, by 1/4 mile you have at least 3/4 of the speed. I am sure the fastest cars running will have stock bodywork, that GT2 setup sure is a drag
