I gave in and ordered mine. Figured if I was willing to pay $100 for a Certificate of Authenticity, $107 for a key cover I would use every time I go out is a better deal. :-)

I too just completed this upgrade, such a huge improvement! The previous head unit would always lock the doors if I turned the key the wrong way

front truck not working with key swap

Curious if anyone else had issues with the front trunk (using the button) after this key swap. Trunk worked fine with old key, works fine with interior switch, but the new key button works sporadically now (911 lights up fine when pressed). I'll swap the battery next - despite it being relatively new.

I'd say "battery". There is no way the fob would make a difference. Either it sends the signal or it doesn't.

Just got my new key from ECS Tuning. It's buuuuttteeefulllll.

My last car was a maserati and they have nice keys, so now this is on par. Though, with the maserati, you get a "fancy" little fabric pouch to store the keys.

Does anybody know if the early single button key fob will work?

@gottspd Thank you for the support and glad you liked it.

@white out The single button will work with the fob, the trunk button just won't do anything. For more information Click Here
