-Most Billet DV's with piston style internals should be serviced once a year or 15k what ever comes first.

-There are uprated versions of the stock valves that are less money abd need no servicing but should be replaced every ~40-50k or so.

Its a balance between service or replacement....

-We recommend the Standard Issue brand sold by Titan or Bosch MS sold by us. Both valves have been street and track tested at 2 bar of boost +.

I'd also recommend checking out the EVOMS billet DV's. They have been tested successfully on vehicles up to 1000hp. These units not only hold much higher boost level, but also react much quicker, allowing the turbos to spool much quicker after shifts. They also carry a lifetime product warranty. As they say "the proof is in the pudding".....dozens and dozens of high hp 996 Turbos are successfully using these units.

These DV's come as a complete kit. Everything you see in the picture below.

Feel free to contact us with any questions, or orders. Remember 6Speeders always get a little extra love.

We've also has good experiences with Baileys.

The "Audi" Baileys are the same as the 996tt. Call Mike@Awe if that's the route you would like to go.

thanks for all the info, it really helps out a lot!

I am the type that would rather have to do a replacement every 40k rather than a yearly services for the DVs, so which oes should I look at?

I vote you drive 3 blocks and let us set you up with the EVOMS units. Remember, they come as a complete kit, whereas some others are sold individually, so keep your eye on the costs.
