Want to change HID lightbulb on the Turbo 01?

Hi. I want to change my HID lightbulb on the Turbo 01. Do you know what type of lightbulb is it? Do you know any place to get good brand HID bulbs for cheap?

THanks.

Is it 9006, H1, H7, etc...?

Yes, I want 6000k. The stock one is too yellowish.

Too Yellow??? You might want your vision checked. My stock Litronic lights are a very pure bluish white.

FYI, as you increase the color temp to get the "purple" look, you actually LOSE light intensity, thus inhibiting your ability to see at night. Furthermore, you are more likely to attract attention from Police...the kind of attention you DON'T want.

IMHO, purple lights look gay & only belong on ricers, not supercars like the Turbo.

Hi. Is it H3?

The light is bluish if you look at the light directly, but it's yellowish on the ground. I want the ground to be more whitish.

I don't care about rice and stuff like that. As long as I like the color, I'm happy. I don't care what other people say. It's my car.

The bulb is an D2S for the H.I.D. (Xenon) bulb and it you want a little more color try the 5400K (colormatch) from Philips. The fog light is an H3, and either try Philips Blue Vision or Osram Sylvania SilverStar for the Fog light. The little bulb inside the headlight is an H6W and the Halogen highbeam is an H11.

IMHO I would leave the Xenon light alone and change the rest of the bulbs to color match the dipped beam (Xenon).

6000K work perfectly fine as substitute bulbs for the stock 4300K lights. The Honda complex makes some of you look a bit... insecure? Easily perturbed for someone who drives a real "supercar"?

Just be sure to get ones made by Phillips. They are pretty much the OEM source for HID bulbs.

Porsche's Litronics aren't too impressive compared to say... the HONDA S2000's HID setup. Gasp.

Those 9006, H1, H7, etc.. are all rebased bulbs for retrofit kits that blind every driver out there. Xenon bulbs only came in D2S and D2R for use in Xenon projector housings with the solenoid to make the cutoff so that you don't blind people. Bi-Xenon is a control in the assemble that flips the solenoid so that there is no cutoff in the housing and the Xenon can be projected everywhere like using a high-beam.
