I have had this issue for over a year. Gradually it was getting worse, it probably popped out of 2nd gear 3 times a month or so. My extended warranty was almost over and with more mileage on the clutch i decided it was time to get it fixed. First thanks goes out to Kevin at UMW, for the support and directing me to one of the best techs in the industry whom works for Sonnen Porsche. Danny, does outstanding work and has the credentials to back it up. He took his time and did an amazing job. Gave me detailed describtion of what needed to be done to my car. Like a clutck kit from Kevin at UMW, and a 997SSK along with shifter cables. The car has comepletly transformed. I would highly recomend everyone in the Bay Area to go to Sonnen and have Danny work on your vehicle.

Did the warranty cover the repair? Maybe just labor since you did not use stock parts?

Do you know , other than the first gear on the first pics, what else needed to be replaced? Any shaft? In fact, if it is possible, can you give us the list of the parts replaced? Thanks, J.P.
