Similar Ongoing Problem - '03 TT X50

I have a very similar problem. My issue shows up after about 20min of driving (after resetting codes and cleaning MAF) with uneven idle speed, or a constant idle of 1200 to 1500 rpm with the cluth disengaged, and hard on PMS and ABS lights. If I let it go, my check engine light also will come on. The code I get is the same as yours except when I let it progress long enough to get the check engine light, then it indicates a high idle issue plus the MAF code.

I have suspected that my MAF may have went bad. Short story: took car into body shop for paint work on front air dam, pick car up after many bad rainstorms, car has factory aero w/ EVO intake, go to start car, shop has to jump start it???, car runs very rough and wants to stall, keep it running but seems to act like it was injesting rain water, my theory is that it either shorted something out or the MAF went bad from the water passing through it???

Your post may be a big help to me because I have asked several mechanics to no avail. I will give it a shot unless someone has something else to add.

Thanks,
Brian
