Best HP mods for the $ (Bang for the buck)
If you could add up to 5 mods to your 996TT, what would they be and why?
Keep in mind the title of the thread (Bang for the $)
Fella's, I'm NEW to the 996TT, so easy on the abbreviations, etc. Links to said mod sites, etc would be really helpful as well.
Thanks.

K24/18G's, tune (like Powell mentioned, EPL has a great tune at a great price), injectors, exhaust (a SpeedTech would be a good choice
), EVOMS turbo fresh air inlet pipes and call it a day. Reason: All proven products at a very fair price.
Next EPL meth kit.
And if you want more after that you could round out the package with good flowing IC's and upper intake tract with enlarged 75mm Y-pipe, throttle body and plenum. These intake components should all be done at the same time as they work in series to provide uniform flow.

Um yeah, you didn't say how big a bang, for how much buck? Anyway, all the 18g and meth suggestions here are spot on. That turbo has a tremendous amount of potential and will take you from 450-500whp all the way to the 650-700whp range, if thats what you choose.
Easy, K24/18g with proto wg, exhaust, 5 bar, Greddy ebc and a really good tune. I had a Protomotive tune and loved it, zero problems. The 18g is the best bang for the buck to get you into the mid 500s awd. Oh yeah, start saving for a new clutch.

LOL websites don't seem to be much of a priority for most tuners around here... Most are sponsors and you can find them on the right side of the forum.
If it was me and had the wife loan to do it, I would probably go for larger turbos (either K24/18g or some of the new Tial Alphas), injectors or 5 bar fuel pressure reg, clutch, diverter valves (blow off valves), exhaust, and a good tune!

Diverter Valves
ECU
Exhaust
K24's (or if you have them already, get the clutch first).
Clutch <- Mandatory with every post mentioned thus far.
Should be around 7k including labor starting from scratch if you get some used K24's and a used exhaust.

Big open subject, call some of the tuners on here. Many have great experience with the tuners. I have dealt with Tony at Epl (eplabs.net) and have great things to say about him. I know Todd at protomotive is excellent also along with Dan at Vividracing among others. The step is always money... 16/16g 3500ish, 24/18g 6000ish, Tial's 7500+++. Good luck!
I have to admit, the cost of making one of these in to a STREET BEAST is not that much when compared to other cars out there.
To get from a stock 400+ HP car to nearly 600+ seems to be fairly easy to attain.
