A weird problem?

Does anyone know how to open the trunk if the manual release on door sill won’t work and the remote either (and yes a changed the battery twice) any advice, suggestion please help the Gf left something in there that she wants HELP.

RF wheel off. Hopefully the wheellock key is not in the trunk. If it is, it's just a lot more snug.
Unbolt the rf innner fender liner, and up in there, by the headlight, you'll see a small braided cable. Snag it with a bent up coathanger, grab and pull slowly out toward the right. Front trunklid should pop.

Thanks will try 1st thing in the morning , i hope the wheel lock is in the glove box

Model and MY of car please. if it is 03+ you should be able to use the fuse box jump to activate the hood release.

wross is so right, I was assuming you've got more than a dead battery....

Try the jump first to the accessory post in the fusebox by your left foot.

Thanks that worked great looks like I need a new actuator for the release, thanks again because now she can get here her shopping bag out. My battery was fine the trunk would just not release but if my battery was dead i would try the post, my car is an 03
