So I am finishing up my day at the dealership like any other day. When to my surprise I get a call from a friend and he says to me... So are ya comin??
To which I replied where? of course!
He then told me he was heading over to see Marco over at magnus for some dyno runs!!
Now if you have been in the racing game for a while you will know who marco is, and what he does, and ALL his accomplishments!!!
For all of those who dont know, look him up!!
On to the story, so I head on over and I pull in to the units where the shop is and all I had to do was follow the roaring engine!
I kid you not guys! It sounded amazing!! I was like a stampede of wild animals figure of speech! I pull up and I see the black monster in the dyno and so far so good, I see the graph and it was a 600hp pass, I was thrilled!!!
Little did I know it was on low boost!! To make the story even better, got er up to 1.4ish bar and 720++ hp to the wheels!!!! I WAS BESIDE myself... It is incredible that he has done this on a stock block and so so tune.
CONGRATS COREY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU have officially joined the 700+hp club or 800++ to the crank club! How incredible it is knowing that all is bolt on stuff!! what is crazy is that I saw the graph and this thing still has room for improvement. The fuel and afr's can be trimmed and toyed with, for more ponies!! Todd you mad scientist!! do your magic!!
I cant wait to see the 60-130 numbers!!! too bad it was raining today guys!! or else we'd be tearin it up!!

Uh. Are you sure he wanted you to post this? I guess his 6.6 was on low boost. That's a lot of power.

 

the 6,9 was at .9 bar and pump. the run was on mustang dyno ... congrats corey !!nice numbers !! and from the look at the graph that i got , tha kept pulling more and more up top..

 

Yeah I got the OK to post this!! I dont know about his 60-130 runs. What I do know is the 724hp to the wheels I saw tonight!!!! greedy check after run 1.6, and I know its peakin there so. AWESOME RUN!

 

I got the prelimnary results an hour ago from Corey, hehehehe. Congrats buddy!!!

 

Well cool then. Those Turbos are mean. 724 on the stock bottom end sounds scary, but if this is safe, I want in. Nice.

 

Good work... he has it figured out.... it takes a little time and good people working together to make a success story... wait till you guys see the dynos... you will all see a turbo working and not falling off... ( my secret recipe LOL)

We all know now that the stock block 996tt can handle well over 700whp with good gas and tuning. Now to make you guys go nutts.....VR's motor was a stock 996tt block and had 870rwhp with OEM studs. How do you answer that one? Plus he drove the hell out of it up to 27000 miles
