I'd prefer to avoid any flames on why one shouldn't brake boost, but can it be done in a 99tt? If I give it any brake while on the throttle it feels like it just shuts down the TB. Is there any trick to keep it from doing that?

 

Get at tune that keeps the tb from closing, many of the sponsors can help you with this.

You will need a specific flash to address throttle closure during brake boosting conditions.

Once you have this :

Hold the throttle to the floor or nearly.
Modulate the brake to control speed

I dont recommend doing this for long periods of time, but it will allow you to "launch" from a roll in boost.

 

That makes sense, I used to do it my Supra all the time, thought I'd just lost my touch heh. I don't plan on doing it that often, just for the occasional roll on race (its annoying to get stomped on the jump everytime)
