some early mile results
Joe spun out, he did not "wreck".
He ran that 224 as his first shakedown pass. Right before he pulled the shute, his sunroof caved in and completely threw the car off. When he pulled the shute, the car got sideways and he spun off the runway. He is OK, the car is ok, but sadly he is done for the weekend as his sunroof is stuck in that position and the sunroof track is broken. Too bad as the car currently has close to 200 awhp more than it did when it ran 231 and would have definately broken his previous record.
He said that spinning his car at 200+ mph with an open shute in the back was quite the wild ride.

there has to be someone there that has a 996 with a sunroof they can take the track from!!
Joe's accident happened hours ago. He and the car are ok. Unfortunately Todd just spun the GT2 at 200 mph. Thank God he's Ok! The GT2 didn't suffer any visible damage but it did spin 3 or 4 times. The crosswinds are pretty bad. Todd thinks he may have gotten caught in a gust. Evoms is not going to run anymore today which is the smart and safe thing to do.
Clean your underwear, and my seat, tonight Todd. But most important, stay safe!

Badass, Wish we would have had Chris's car! But those are some awesome mph! Keep it up guys and stay safe! See you all tomarrow!
Congrats Ben, that is awesome, especially considering that your car is just a little stock block tuned by Hillbilly's from Arkansas.

You got Bobbys million dollar tune, didn't ya....wait, wait, I know if you tell me you will have to kill me

I was pretty damn excited. Hopefully with a retune from Todd in the a.m. We can pick up another mph or two. The cars were all over the place from 145 to 165ish and settled down above that. 0-186 was 22.45.
Todd's spin in the GT2 was scary. I had a front row seat for it and I'm very glad he came out unscathed. Kevin, Tom, Joe, Marty, Eric Mike and SW are all great guys. Until tomorrow fellas.....
