That's quite a spending limit for being only 17. The car you're looking for has to be in the 50-55k range, or would you consider cars that are less expensive than that? What have you considered already? What type are you looking for (luxury, etc.)?

sheesh!

Lol at 17 my choices were bus or subway. U cant even get a lic at 17 in sweden. But if u ve got the cash then why not look into a preowned 996? With that much cash u should be able to get a 01-02 996 coupe or cab with 30 to 40 K on it. Why dont u look in the dupont registry for an idea of what you can get for your money???? I gotta tell u tho, even now at 34 I couldnt imagine myself driving a porsche or a car for 55K USD at 17, but i wish u good luck with it.

At 17 my options were walking or the light blue Chevette.

I'd buy a 350 Z Roadster and either put a turbo or a supercharger on it.

I don't know how you get the $55K. Problem is if you have endless financial resources and buy a Porsche Turbo now you have NO way of EVER finding a better car. That means you'll be bored out of your mind from now on.

You have to leave room to grow... The 350 Z is THE best car in its price category and offers tons of fun. I bought one when they first came out and had a blast driving it for 900 miles before I sold it.

In all honesty, at 17 you need to buy a used Nissan Maxima for $10K and put the rest of the money into college!

How about a slightly used E39 M5? It will be less tossable than the M3, but it's extra size might keep you out of trouble.

1) Used Carrera
2) New 987 Boxster S
2) New M3
3) Used M5
4) Used RS6 (probably more like low 60's)

Nice fix you're in, good luck.
