Wider Rim Setup

I am considering a wider setup on my GT2 in 18". Anyone here running 13" inch rears or know of a setup. If so, the model of rims and tire specs. Thanks.

The widest wheels I was able to run withot extending the fenders were 12.5 inch Fiske FM10's rear and 10.0 inch front.

What kind of tires are you running with that setup?

Chad, you also had to do some structural moving stuff around
in the front to run those 10" wheels, didn't you?

Two different types.

Michelin PSC's, 265/35-18's and 315/30-18's

Hoosier 275/35-18's and 335/30-18's

The fronts required moving the radiator brackets slightly forward along with building a small aluminum box out where the plastic louvers were. About eight hours of work.

The rears required some small cut outs about two inches in diameter. These cut outs were replaced with hand formed aluminum. Very easy to do.

Pic of Hoosier 335/30-18's

If you use the correct offsets, 235 and 315. To install the 315's I believe you will still need to roll the rear fenders.

No, they are polished aluminum. Either dirty or bad pic.

cjv, I do not want to roll my fenders on my GT2 what do you think my best option is with a strong 18" wheel? fiske or kinesis? do you think I can go with the 12.5" in the rear without a problem and what would be a comprable front? thank you.
