If you need to leave the car down here between the mile and TX2K10 I could probably store your trailer for you for the time that passes inbetween if you needed to head up back north. Keep that in mind when you are making plans. Congrats again.

Be sure to post some video with some burn outs when you get your GT2 and perhaps when the car arrive at your door steps. Just hold your breath when the trucker opens that rear ramp/door and to see that beast rolling off the truck is priceless. Congrats again and thanks for sharing with us this wonderful moment. Btw, are you losing sleep waiting for your baby to arrive? I know I would!

 

I'm driving out and trailering it home myself. It is only 10-11 hours away.
I have had cars delivered and it is cool to watch them roll off.
I feel like a little kid a couple days before Christmas.

Thanks. Hopefully there will be some decent weather up here so I can get out and enjoy it. I'll do a thread on comparing it to the Z. I've also been asked to do a comparison of the Z06, GT2 and a GTR on a road course. We will have to see if I can make that happen or not.

Joe - I almost missed your post. Thanks Bro. I love my Z06 but the GT2 is on another level. The GT2 has been on my short list for awhile and I couldn't pass up this deal. You were a bad influence and like I told Tom & Kevin - you can expect a bill from my wife.

Another GT2 vs Z06 garage in a matter of days. I say vs because you will always have a favorite. I have my bets placed on one particular vehicle in this case.

Now you can put some Porsche times in the lap times thread to go along with your vette ones.

Dez - I know you have your bias. I will post a thread after I have a chance to get some miles on her. As far as track times go, I have promised the wife that it will not become a track car. I will get it on a couple of tracks that I know well and get a comparison. Not sure I want to be mid corner when these turbos hit.

I plan on bringing both cars to the mile in March and to TX2K10.

 

The only thing I haven't liked about vette's is reliability with mods because I got bitten in the **** by one. Yours doesn't seem to have those problems, but I still think that GT2 will blow your mind.

And it doesn't need to become a track car.

I wouldn't worry as much about the turbos hitting mid corner as I would not lifting mid corner. I know it's apples and oranges but my highly modded 930 would make you suck up the seat cushion if you did that.
