LOL - It is gonna take alot for my man Eric to get excited over the 997

 

LOL.

I thought it was cool to see. Nice photography...and very cool twin oval exhaust. But, given that Porsche fans seem to be willing to pay $800-1000 for exhaust tips, I won't be willing to buy them. I can understand expensive tips, but I think PepBoys sells cheap/chrome generic tips for $20, lets make them 10 times better, $200, now a pair, $400. I would pay that, but I still wouldn't ever tell people what I paid for them, they would lock me up around here (utah).

 

Yawn was for two reasons.

First, that pic's been posted a dozen times here.

Second, well, it's a boring 997. I really like the 996. I think they blew it with the overall 997 design, but that's just one man's opinion. Clean up the interior, dress up the exterior (not quite as insane as TechArt has done, but close), and you never know. Put 500 ponies in that tail, and toss me the keys. I might be a believer.
