Man ive seen pics like that a few times usually its alcohol off road motors or 4g63 motors with idiot owners modding everything but the tune and the fuel system =)

looks like a blast man broken motors are always a chore to get apart let alone the complexity of a 996TT engine bottom end now u have bent parts giving more resistance good luck my friend take lots more pics. i wish i had pics of the carnage my bottom end went through but it wasn't much compared to what went on here my rod didn't break.

reminds me of the expensive times I had with my highly modified Yamaha R1 that spit a piston out of the block at 189mph.............twice.

I haven't heard of to many broken cranks. Was it an over rev, do you know what happened to cause it to break?

I use to have an R6 before my GSXR 1000.

beleive it or not i was doing 55ish behind a car. i had installed an additional oil cooler. the adapter line were coming from oil filter. we think it was oil starvation b/c the oil pump wasnt strong enough to handle the added cooler.
