Thanks for the compliments!

Check out the great reviews and explanation of flashing technology which makes us a great choice at www.vrtuned.com. Vivid Racing now offers its own tuning at www.vrtuned.com. Read our FAQ, see applications, and order. We are no longer affiliated with or sell the other brand of tuning.

+1 on above. The flash, dv's and exhaust are a great start and the power gain with just these is fantastic. Until you get used to it and need another fix.
You have a great car and this is an awesome forum for learning. Just remember to enjoy the car and not get too caught up with the Jones'.

IMHO If you are going for a sane value upgrade, as mentioned in the previous post. I have done the following minimum upgrades as I really like my stock clutch and wish to remain aquainted with it for a long time.

In order of appearance....
  1. FaBspeed Gen II with 200 Cell CATS
  2. 1 bar Wastegate Actuators (Adjusted to 13psi)
  3. Forge DVs
  4. Softronic X50 Flash (1.3 - 1.4 bar sustained in 3rd WOT)
I personally would not update the air filter to anything that is NOT dry. I blew my MAF with one of the recommended aftermarket oily types, and NO they did not pay for the replacement MAF. Stay Stock and/or DRY on this, it works fine. If someone can come up with a decent (Not CF) dual snorkle intake that would be worth adding.

The only other thing I will add for extra in cylinder cooling is a 60/40 or 70/30 Meth injection using the Aquamist hfs-6 System with twin .9mm Injectors.

The Softronic Flash for Me Wins HANDS DOWN ESPECIALLY because of the EASE of install AND De-Install, compatibility with the Durametric OBDII Interface. AND of course the prompt and courtious help from Softronic. They are looking into whether I need any adjustments for my Water Injection.

The rest of the car will remain stock till I sell it. I will sell it with all the mods.

An ECU flash is definitely the first to do. IMO, the next mod should be the suspension; a 500hp+ (crank) should feel like a 500hp+ car. The factory suspension just wouldn’t cut it.

Check out our L1 Best Value Package, it is really the beginners mod package, everything you need to do an initial wake up of the car. The exhaust is also a staple for many future modifications, as it has been proven at over 1100hp.

Flash
High Flow Air Filter
SPI Exhaust.

Enjoy your new ride, I am sure you will have a lot of fun.

Approximately 520-550hp at the crank, so 105-135 additional hp.

EDIT: I guess our website is a bit conservative

Ari is absolutely correct on this...unless you are running some big turbos/hybrids anything over 1.2 is a waste...and about 1.0 for K16s.
