Woodster wants my avatar it seems.

I am concerned about the source of "cheap" superspecialized parts.....we're not talking seat covers or floor mats.....I don't want to risk my engine for a few dollars.... The vendors here can likely get stock parts at very good pricing and you will be guaranteed authenticity and "newness." Now, Evoms or BBI are fine, and I really like the idea of more power...but the price is a bit steep for my meager needs (on track I find 500+ HP more than enough....reliability rules for me...and my skill set is not up to more than 650HP to be honest....I am just not a Mikelly or Tom Kerr yet).

I bought 6 coilpacks from Suncoast for $280. The part is now a 997 superseded part number but works for the 996TT.

I had a full interogation of my car via PIWI today and everything was good. The tech told me that he'd be able to tell cylinder by cylinder.....

Not sure if I believe that, but it is nice to know all is well. He did say that if one goes bad, one is usually best off doing them all....otherwise, he advocated just leaving them alone.

Check that gap. Make it .025 or so.
