Not really. I was hoping for some high tech geek lingo with numbers and ratios. You know, the cool stuff that only the experts, like yourself, can hand down do us with a severe knowledge deficit.

So in EPL's water injection testing thread, (after getting a few of your questions answered) you announce that you bought the kit from another vendor.

Now, there's nothing wrong with that. People spend their dollars where they want to. No harm done.

But now you're upset that EPL won't walk you through your install?

That's like going to Best Buy and griping that they won't trouble shoot the computer you bought on Amazon.

As far as sportsmanship... pot meet kettle.

Geez, I know I was light on the geek lingo, but I had some number and ratios...

Great point. Even though I had my HSF-1 kit installed locally by my mechanic, I bought it from EPL (didn't even shop the price) because I wanted the support from Tony and Dave. Made sense to me.

Nice pics Dave! I think I wanna do the rubber hoses over the meth tubes at some point.

Sorry man. Didn't mean to bum you out. I just like a lot of very specific data. Like what target AFRs and timing could be on pump with GT28s and the kind of specific resulting affect on HP and TQ. Better yet, perhaps some enlightenment on the overall change in shape of the power curve, etc, etc, etc. I like that kind of information and I'm sure other do as well. You see, I'm a real geek wanna be. I'm a big believer in water/meth and want to learn all I can about it's attribute in relation to the tuning and the resulting impact on the character of our cars. So who better to bring on the good stuff? I can't think of anyone better, at this juncture, than Tony & Crew. This is an EPL thread afterall. Bring it on boys!

I started my HFS-6 install this week. I will be posting a full report later on in as much detal as I can. But so far I have sucessfully installed the level and supply lines into the stock Water Reservior and they just fit .

The pump install is a little more challenging for my chosen installation. I have done extensive temperature evaluations and worked with Aquamist directly on the component specs and they agree with my findings so far. I will need to fabricate a custom bracket for the Pump which I will publish the plans for, both on my website and here. That is currently my only challenge.

I am doing the "How To" in the form of an Install document that will be available on request or downloadable form my website. I am not allowed to post the link on here exactly, but Chuck said I could post a partial one, then it will be obvious where to get it. Please do not expect a fast install, I love to procrastinate to get things right and will certainly take my time.

Here are some gereral photos so far, I have more but they will go into my final document.

Congrats on the start of your install!! I do however believe this information is better suited in its own thread.

Thanks!
Tony
