We are trying to do that, but they as well are being difficult saying they can't do it without a Police report (and the police won't write a report YET).

I have a question, why would you sublease a car?
Is there any advantage? Wouldn't you be held responsible if the person did not pay or even damaged the car?
Also, why did you have to send it to AZ?
What about insurance, will it cover it?

We subleased because payments were rediculous and selling the car would have ment a huge hit!! The advantage is no loss basically, they just take over your payments!! In a normal situation you would get a good chunk of money up front for any damage and the contract would require that the person subleasing it is required to have insurance and return the car in original condition. The contract would also cover payments and again you get a good chunk in advance (unfortunatly it didn't work out this way with this company).

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!
Well right now at about 12AM we just recieved a call from Mercedes Tel Aid that they located the car in Beverly Hills, CA, the BH Police have possession of the car and are transporting it to a secure location!!! Thank you everyone for your help and support!! We will be making arrangments to have the car shipped back here tomorrow!!

i saw a BH cop was driving it!

j/k man glad the car is found. MB Tel Aid system is awesome. i got MB calling me saying my car is being moved without the key... amazing they can know that.
