Cheapest (yet still good) GT2 Wing for 996 TT

Where can i find a cheap, yet still good quality (I just don't care about getting OEM) GT2 wing (with all needed accessories, wiring harness, brake light etc..) that requires no special fitment for 2001 996TT? I have the spoiler failure and I might as well get rid of the motorized unit that will keep going bad.

I see GT2 wings for ~$1,800. Is that about what most of them go for?

Thanks!

I replaced my failed wing with one from misha911:

One for one replacement with the old wing. Had my local ruf disable the hydraulics. Wont go up anymore, but there's plenty of downforce.

They have several other choices:

Mention you're on the forum and you'll get a nice discount. I negotiated it down to $750.

Hans.

Is there a kit to convert 996 headlights to round 997 lights?
Do we have to get 997 fenders or bondo up that part?

Call or e-mail Misha directly, it's a good quality piece. MAKE SURE you get one with ADJUSTABLE angle of the wingblade - even if you won't use the adjustment, buy that at least for resale value - and for your future ease to resell.

Misha's comes with possibility to adjust the angle (much needed on track), many other don't so you can end up all over the place depending on how they set it.

He has hooked up many 6speeders with good pricing.

Recently my rear spoiler started acting up, and i tlook like I'm going to be forced to look at my options.

I was looking at these same two options. Does anyone have a used one for sale, and is there anyone in Socal that is using either that I can see up close and personal?

Does anyone know the weight reduction on these?

Thanks,

What are you guys doing about the spoiler light? Is there a way to wire past it so it doesn't illuminate, or are you pulling the bulb, or just ignoring it?

I saw another thread about a brown and/or black wire or something you can wire up to fix the problem. I also think they make a GTS harness, but not 100% sure.
