Beat by 335 and evo in 3 days, need a bump
Not sure what the OP has but I was referring to X50 with K24.
Yea, but even so, I'm not seeing a flash and exhaust getting 500 WHEEL HP on even an X50, which came with 450BHP from the factory... Are there any dynosheets to show a flashed/exhaust X50 makikng that kinda power? If so, I've not seen one...

I had a 335i with Vishnu which i raced with my 996tt with tune...the 335i was about 2 cars lengths behind...my 335i was on Vishnu stage 2, basic flash. Now they are much faster...you need atleast a k16/16g turbos to walk away from a 335i
That's very good power, but he was talking about 500 awhp not rwhp. Most awhp i have seen on mustang dyno for flashed cars are in the low 400's.
We all know dynojets read about 10-15% higher depending on the dyno etc. So you numbers are still very strong!

what tune and exhaust will net 500 awhp on a 996 tt? The best is low 400 awhp with tune and exhaust. You need a turbo upgrade for 500 +

and 600rwhp on race gas. And that was 3 yrs ago. Yes it was on rwhp on a dynojet but I think the OP gets the point.
My old GT2 dynoed at 528rwhp/537ft/lbs on 93

All I got is X50, cats, exhaust and a flash with 93 octane. Walked a M-6's last weekend. Can't see a 335 or even M-3 coming close (most of them won't even try). There are certainly more than a few cars out there can beat a well sorted 996TT but none of them have German labels unless it's another Porsche.
Thats a pretty bold statment with all the Turbo and Supercharged M3's running around, not to mention that with reasonable mods the 335's are making 440+ at the ground. Then there is the AMG's and well there are plenty of videos of those running around.
I met my x brother in law for lunch today and he has a 07 335 with about 430rwhp and is waiting for a turbo upgrade. The upgraded will produces well over 500rwhp. He has been running modified since 07 on his 3rd tune and says other than a fuel pump and some other minor things its been great and runs very strong. Didn't bring it would have been interesting to drive.

They also have it racing a GTR
Not to worried because most other cars start with a deficit in power and we can easily one up them no problem.
It seems like it never ends, now I want 600hp, there are some strong runners out there.
I got totally ripped by a SC M3 about 3 months ago but figured, ok a SC M3 500+hp should rip me. I got over it 15min later, but when the 335 and evo hung i thought thats it and I ended up here.

Later a set of upgrade IC (or meth) and Y-intake+ IPD plenum
. Now you should have comfortable hp level. Have fun. This is actually my planned project
. On 1st step now.
