996 TT Tiptronic Bad for Modding?
SubscribeWill Tiptronic hinder my modding abilities in anyway? Do they make less power? Clutch issues?

yes, the tip has clutch 'packs'. These will wear out as you increase HP. It's really a guess as to how much a stock tip tranny will hold consistently. Tiptronics are difficult to dyno and as a result I am not certain as to how much whp I am making bu I venture to guess around 600. Now my clutch packs needed to be replaced around the 550whp level with about 30k miles. 5k of which were at that power level.
If you want a killer straight track rocket, the tip is hard to beat.
