Rear spoiler question inside:

I would like to add a different spoiler on the trunk lid, or perhaps another trunk lid alltogether. What are my options? What do you guys have you could show me? TIA -Rob

Go to Vivid Racing's web site.........they have a bunch of after market wings with pictures. Mashaw too...........

or just google Porsche Wings or Body kits and you'll get a bunch of info....most manufactures have galleries as part of thier sites. CEC Wheels as well....they carry Tech Art.

Most of the options for the different spoiler are:

Techart
Ruf
GT2 wing
Strosek wing

I had the techart wing on my turbo and it gives a nice subtle wider look. the problem is that the wing sits on your decklid and scratches it.

I currently have (and sell) the strosek wing and it is more aggressive than stock and does not touch your decklid at all. I love this wing and think it's the best add-on wing out there.

Coincidentally, I posted up another GB for our strosek style wing. Let me know if you're interested

Spoiler

I think the GT2 rear spoiler gets my vote. When you purchase one of these kids does it automatically disable the hydrallics in the stock unit?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Uh...you replace the entire lid including the hydraulic lifters...you will need a different wiring harness or it will throw codes.

I guess I phrased that first portion wrong.. I was in fact referring to the harness portion of the install. Does this harness come with most of these aftermarket wings?

Thanks for the insight,

Not that I know of. We don't include it when we sell our gt2 lids...but boca996tt will know for sure

That is a beautiful piece.. I may consider that but I have my heart set on the GT2 wing at the moment so I will probably go with the CF version with the decklid. I was just curious about the harness and all of the other items..

Take care,

This one is Carbon Fiber painted seal gray. It is a direct bolt on to factory hydraulics. It goes up and down like stock the stock wing. No harnesses needed.
