Welp, I finally pulled the trigger on a silver 03 996 TT 6spd. Thanks for everyone's help. Now where to start modding?

I'm definitely going to get some wheels first. I'm actually an ex-vendor of the forums and will be renewing my status at some point since I own the car now.

Actually, I need to figure out if I have an X50 or not!

Michael,

Your car that was at Rusnak was checked out by me for a buddy a while ago. I found it to have the x50 and x54 codes under the hood, but I clearly am 100% sure whoever had the car before swapped out the turbos and intercoolers because your car right now has the standard intercoolers, I stuck my hand in the rear bumper to feel if the intercoolers were smooth or "rough/ edgy", smoooooth.

So your car is not an x50 and for the x54 option, that was the option for the factory dual exhaust tips (4 holes), whoever had the car before must have had an aftermarket exhaust..

Also the driver side rear fender has been re-painted, but the car in general is a clean one and it drives great, sorry I redlined your Turbo when I was taking it for a spin... - Atleast it is mechanically perfect, .

Congrats on the new car, Enjoy!

That's too bad. Oh well, maybe that's why they ended up letting it go for $45k. I had a feeling this is what happened.

Michael,

Who cares, bottom-line is that you have a Turbo sitting in your garage right now and that you got a decent deal. One of the options that really caught my eyes is the "GT3-look" wheels in the Turbo/ Widebody offsets.
