What do you use for data logging?

We all know durametric is probably the most commonly used method for personal cars but recently i've seen a couple PC programs and IPhone software that will log all the same stock parameters from the OBDII port.

I also did a search and found a $40 OBDII --> USB plug.

I've also found one earlier in the day for $20 but couldn't find it again.

Just was wondering what everyone was using to log their data and if there was a cheaper home made version of durametric or if durametric software was good enough to warrant the price tag.

I personally would like something a little more user friendly than the Durametric although I'll admit I've not yet used the newest version which is supposed to be heavily improved. Don't need diagnostic most of th etime, just need DATA and in a format that can be exported and played with would be very nice too...
