Question about reliability of 996TT vs. E39 M5?
The E39 M5 revs to 8250k rpms (more with Dinan) and is NA, it's hard to duplicate that feel in any turbo car, even a 996TT with an 8k rev limit. That's why there is a market for a GT3 even when there is a GT2. And the presence of the interior is better in the M5. Heck I like the presence of my C5 over the 996TT. The 996 TT is better quality, but it's still boring.
The NA growl in the interior is great to.

I remember seeing it live on BBC and how my jaw dropped when Tiff did those never ending drifts in the M5...
