One more thing. Im confused.... I thought that 21 psi (1.4 bars) is alot for our cars. What is you plan for HIGH boost? my computer goes into limp mode after it detects 1.3 bars.
Also... do you peak 21 psi or it stays at 21.
I'm wondering what your car would do (1/4 mile) if it was a 6 speed?
sorry for all the questions... Im just trying to find out what others like yourself are doing.

Hey marski, that is correct indeed. I use n20 to shoot the intercoolers to cool them down. I did use them on the 11.05. Only that changed since then was the additional fuel pump. 21PSI is higher boost but my car has run 29psi before so... Originally posted by MARKSKI

The 21psi was fluttering a but too so obviously much more to come I hope

I cannot back this up for a fact, but my fathers friend had a 996TT and he said he ran 10.02 in the 1/4. I have been for a drive in it and it was indescribable, unfortunately, besides him saying upgraded turbos, aftercooler, ECU, tubi and other mods, I have no idea what it really had. I never saw a slip either. But this was really an amazing ride.

According to the time slip and stuff like the toys above my 0-60 on that run was 2.69 seconds

What kind of 0-60 did you pull?
What was your ET and MPH?
Were you on STREET tires too?
I'll have to calc. my 0-60 also to see how I stack up.

I'll answer some of your questions.
a) 1.9 seconds............ It is a six speed, but no need to shift out of second until after 60 mph.
b) sharky knows.
c) Yes, they are DOT legal, however they don't last very long (as in a day or two)
The car will not be back together until February. We bent all six rods on a launch.
If you are interested in how the new motor is going together go to 6speedonline, Performance /Tuning, cjv/ s car go thread.
