What's our front/rear weight ratio?

Hi all. All my documents are in the trunk of my car, which
is at the shop! Does anyone know what our typical front/back
weight ratio is? I am deciding on different springs for my coilovers,
and I don't see any reason why the springs shouldn't be very
close to the natural ratio of the weight...
thanks!
Joe

I believe it's either 61/39 or 62/38. I am interested in your new spring choice. What are you considering?

I went from stock to 450/700 and the street ride is good, but wonder if 600/800 would be better for the track. I still get some nose dive under heavy braking with the 450's.

Hi Larry! I've been running 400/700, and that doesn't even match the
39/61 basic weight ratio, so I'm considering your 450/700 to start,
and maybe higher later?

Here is a weigh ticket from my car. Does this help? Looks like 1160 front and 2160 rear. 35% front / 65% rear with out me in it.

Thanks! Do you have a stock suspension? I ran your numbers
though a corner-weight calculator, and it looks like you could
dial it in about 20lbs per corner closer:

Left_Front_Goal__Delta______Right_Front_Goal__Delt a
714.93_________-20.07_______686.07___________20.07
Left_Rear_Goal__Delta_______Right_Rear_Goal___Delt a

threadjacking a bit, but I just bought a set of used ohlins with 15kg/18kg springs (or 840/1000 in lb per inch). Would it be suicidal to put them on if I still use the car for DD duties?

That's pretty stiff for a DD but you could probably get away with it if you have the shocks re-valved to properly handle it. Or a cheaper alternative would be to buy a different set of springs. Talk to an expert like Fabryce at GMG. He can guide you as to what the 996TT needs.
