Make fun of me all you want, I am getting a Vette...
I will keep the 911 but I plan on ordering a C6 coupe. I love the car.
I can get over the "stereotypes" I hardly fit the description of what some of you feel is a typical Vette owner.
Anyway, I looked at it, drove it, and loved it. Also for the money, I can't find anything even comparable.
BTW, it will be yellow.
Should I put my flame retardant suit on?

The C6 has received great reviews. And you're right, there's nothing close for the money. Congrats!

Congrats!! I also plan to get a C6 Z06 next year. I have many friends with Vettes and NONE of them fits the stereotype. I think that "image" problem is a carry over from the 70s and is no longer accurate ... but it is hard to break. I did not even know there was a stereotype until I started reading about it on other car forums.
