Personally I really like the burn your **** off setting. I have 3 bad discs in my back and two bad hips. On long car rides, it's the only thing that keeps me comfortable.
My G-wagen has 3 settings, but it automatically goes down a setting at a time as it heats up. I find that really annoying. I know how hot I want my **** to be don't change by yourself!

Correction: RE and RE LF Seat. Remove Seat Back Cover. Dissassemble and Replace Seat Back Element in Cover
Parts:

1- 000-043-071-00 SECURING CLIPS $7.39 USD
This is for the Comfort Seats
