Need Help Regarding Ecu

I wanted to install a chip in the car myself but my custom sub enclosure covers the ecu (almost impossible to take out) so I had my porsche dealership take it out. I was planning on having upsolute do the install but they closed down the austria factory where the chips are sent for two weeks and the car is sitting on a lift at the dealership, the ecu has already been removed. Are there any alternatives to upsolute? I really do not want to spend $2000 to get a chip that has at most 10 hp more than an upsolute would like GIAC. Any help would be appreciated. Dan.

You shouldn't have to take your ECU out at all!! Find your local GIAC dealer and they'll flash it for you via the OBDII port

Crap, I wish I knew that earlier. I thought the flashing just meant you can chip ecu without sodering or opening it up but still need to take it out if car. It's over $500 labor already just to take out ecu because of my subs. If I had to start over, I would have gone with GIAC to save all the labor costs. Anyways, now that chip is out any other suggestions.

We do it in-house here. The port is to your left under the steering rack... (purple).

I heard the police had numerous complaints of 'flashing' in the Akkurat parking lot...
Is this what they meant?
