how do you tighten wastegates? DIY somewhere?

 

Really easy,just make 2 turns clockwise and you should get 0.1 more boost

 

Which bolt? Nearest the actuator or opposite of it?

Had FVD, DV, and dropin, was seeing 1.0-1.1 in all gears. Now w/ dual intake, Y-pipe, TB, plenum and IC's seeing 0.9 max, told that was normal. Smoke test was done no leaks.

 

I see 0.8 bar up to second gear, up to 1.3 bar as of 3rd gear, as of which the car runs like a raped ape. I do have zero clearance hybrids (16/24).
My buddies in normally aspirated GT3s (who see me dissapear in the distance ) tell me there's black puffs of smoke when I hit it hard. Car is definitely running too rich.

 

I have K16/24 with FVD flash,always see 1-1.1 bar,I also changed to a dual intake,TB and plenum and IC's and still see 1-1.1 bar ( don't have the Y pipe)

 

Why .8 in 2nd and 1.3 in 3rd.? If your turbo is big, it would be reasonable. Might worth to check. Something is not right.

 

Have you adjusted the Wastegates? I called FVD and they said w/ my set up I should only see .9bar...?

 

I didn't adjust the wastegates,but if I were you I would turn your bolts from the wastegates 2 turns clockwise and see what happens.
