Check out my New Custom Y-Pipe & IPD Plenum

After seeing all these posts recently regarding custom made Y-pipes I decided to have one custom made for me. I used IPD plenum since all my friends use them with great results. After the plenum was installed the work on the custom Y-pipe started. After a couple days I stopped by to see the progress and was amazed by the work. Here are some pics of the IPD Plenum inside the car with the custom Y-Pipe test fitted. The piping was fabricated from the Evoms intercoolers. I'm so pleased with the way it looks that I wanted to share it with you all before it's completed.

Let me know what you think?

That looks clean bro, awsome fabrication. You will be very happy once complete. Are you gonna powdercoat it?

2.75 which is about 70mm . That is about twice the flow of the stock Y-pipe where the pipe connects. The most important part of the Y-pipe is where it joins together into Y. Most fabricators would squeeze two pipes together into a single 3in to fit the throttle body but my friend uses 3 1/2 inch pipe to minimizing air flow restrictions then reducing it at the throttle body. Maximizing the most air flow possible.
