What do you guys think a 996tt tip with k24, exhaust, flash, diverter valves on 4WD can do on dyno?

 

A lot if they're 18g units.

 

I think he's referring to a stock X-50 K24 car.

With the exhaust and flash you're probably 425-450 at the wheels depending on octane.

 

Probably less than that if its a tip and on a 4wd dyno. Not that your car is slower or less powerful than others, just don't expect huge numbers from a tip and 4wd dyno

 

I would not take it to a dyno... you will get disappointed... we have a a 18g wheel for that.... maybe Wg springs and your done... K24s alone not that impressive...

996tt of any flavor, K16 or K24 are all considerably less than impressive in stock form...unless you are coming up from a Taurus...(not that there is anything wrong with that)

 

Tiptronics do NOT dyno well at all. Totally worthless IMO. The pbox is the only way to accurately guage performance improvements on a tip.

stock K24's maybe low 12's high 11's if you drive well. Probably close to 120.

 

Not dyno'ed, but I have an '04 Cab X50 with a UMW flash, UMW Waste Gate Actuator Kit, Bosch DVs, and a 100 cell EPGEN2Q. I'm told that I'm around 520 HP to the wheel based upon other X50's that have been dyno'ed w/ the same kit on a 92 octane file. All I know is that it pulls hard up to my limits pretty damned fast.

 

520 to the wheels on what dyno and I have similar mods with same tune pretty much and I'd say I have about 440 to the wheels. Raced a 03 cobra which dynoed at 460 to the wheels and he was neck and neck with me...not happy.

 

520! I don't think, that too much. I have been told 425-450.

 

Old EVOMS stage 3 did 450-460whp with a six speed. With a tip I would guess 430-440 if you could get it to dyno right.

 

If you can't dyno your car, go to the dragstrip or go run some 60-130's and then report back with numbers and we'll tell you how much power you have.

 

I agree with TT. The real world numbers are very telling, dynos are not an accurate measurement of how fast your car is...
