That was one of my favorite cars at the Intl Auto Show this year, just to see one in person. The Caddy Sixteen was pretty crazy too.

If the wheel looks that bad, imagine the under side of that car? I wonder how far he slid the car down that median. Try to sell that one after the damage has been repaired and then having a prospective buyer see the car fax.

If I had the cash, I'd probably buy it because you can't see any damage. Even though you and a few people involved with the repair, no one would even know it had been involved in a wreck. They're not going to make many CGTs so, they will always keep their value.
That has to hurt.
It looks like Arbutus Street in Vancouver, and those look like BC license plates but I may be wrong. Perhaps our Vancouver colleagues can confirm or shed some light on this(?).
Or maybe someone else knows for sure where this is. I am sure it probably made some interesting newspaper photo shoots.
If this was a CGT in Canada it will be a small fortune to fix.
Is it my imagination or are we seeing ALOT of thrashed CGT's on these web pages?
Is it the car or is it the drivers?

I remember Jeremy Clarkson saying the Carrera GT was really fast, but was always right on the edge. He said it wasn't a very forgiving car to drive, and punished you for your mistakes.
So I guess you could say it's the car being "unforgiving", or it could be the drivers getting "in over their heads", or maybe a bit of both.
